Whilst out browsing one of Bangkok's many cute stationery shops I noticed that they had these adorable folders for displaying your K-pop photocards, the ones I saw were specifically for NCT and so I was really hoping that one of the amazing fan artists here would produce a GOT7 one and ... THEY DID! So of course I ordered one ASAP and it finally arrived so I thought I would show you all what it looks like.
The artwork for the collect book was done by one of my favourite Thai fan artists Bim and in a carnival style that matches the 2021 calendar I bought from her from to. I love that it features not only GOT7 but their pets to and of course an ahgase, it's such a cute touch. The collect book also came with a postcard, keychain, sticker and standee of my bias Jackson dressed as one of my favourite (and Jackson's) Disney characters Buzz Lightyear which was I loved so much and you can also purchase these character sets separately from the collect book to if you want to collect all the members dressed as Disney charcters, Jinyoung as Mickey and Jaebeom as Stitch are sooo cute!!
These collect books are such a cute idea and really nice for displaying your photocards, I'm not much of a photocard collector so I decided to use mine to mostly display my concert tickets. I do however have a separate card wallet full of Jackson photocards I have collected so I may get a separate folder especially for him in the future and I would love to get one for my Day6 collection to. So if you're looking for a cute way to keep your precious K-pop photocards then you should definitely get yourself a cute collect book!
How do you like to display your photocard collection?

My baby cousin LOVES chocolate so I thought I would create a cupcake recipe just for her but try to make it a little bit healthier as it's not good to feed a 4 year old too much chocolate! For this recipe I tried out a couple new vegan products, the Nature's Charm chocolate syrup made by one of my absolute favourite vegan cafes in Bangkok and some new plant-based milks that were on offer at the supermarket, but if you can't find these brands don't worry you can just use any chocolate syrup and milk or instead of the syrup just use cacao powder instead for a less sweet version.
Ingredients
1 cup mashed banana
1/3 cup chocolate syrup
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup chocolate milk
1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
1 + 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
(Makes 10)
♥ Preheat and oven to 180 & line a cupcake tray with 10 cupcake cases
♥ In large bow mix together the mashed banana, chocolate syrup, chocolate milk, coconut oil and sugar, if you don't want the cupcakes to be too sweet then you can leave out the sugar.
♥ Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix it into a smooth batter.
♥ Divide the batter equally into the cupcake cases and bake in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
♥ Once baked removed the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
♥ Eat and enjoy!
Let me know if you try these out and what you think.
Good Luck

This year I decided to make a bigger effort to support more smaller businesses and instead of buying GOT7 merch from big heartless companies to instead support my fellow Ahgase and their beautiful artistic creations which are 100% made with love. There are honestly so many amazing artists out there making so many beautiful items that really need your support, especially during these tough times, so I thought I would share some of the cute things that I got recently.
As soon as I saw this pin I knew I had to have it for my collection! I love film photography and I love GOT7 so of course this pin was just perfect for me. I love the teal and rose gold colours and also the tiny details like the Ahagse and "I love you GOT7" written on the bottom in pink. The stickers were free gift as I pre-ordered the pin but are now available to buy separately. This pin now has a home on my Love Bird Ita bag and it's so pretty I can't stop staring it. I also really adore the cassette tape pins from the same designer her work is so beautiful detailed and she doesn't just make GOT7 themed goods she also has a store dedicated to other Kpop groups so I definitely recommend you check out her work and give her a follow!
Pineapple tarts are a traditionally served at Chinese New Year and one of my favourite treats so when I saw an Ahgase selling these cutie GOT7 themed ones on Twitter I could not resist! I've actually ordered these about 3 times now (soon to be 4 for my birthday next month) as they are so good! The pastry is soft and buttery and the filling is chewy and not too sweet, they are so good and some of the best pineapple tarts I've eaten, just check out the reviews! In addition to the GOT7 boys she also makes cute little Ahagse tarts (which you can see in my unboxing video below) and also offers strawberry and kiwi fillings to so you can completely customise what you want, if you live in Thailand I totally recommend you order yourself some and if you're not a GOT7 fan she can make some more traditionally shaped tarts for you to.
Eunnise Pins are my best girls are previously gifted me with a bunch of pins which I treasure so much and over the past couple years since opening they have been on a roll creating not just beautiful pins but now branching into clothing and even plushies! I have been waiting forever to get myself their Jackson birthday pins to add to my Jackson Ita pouch and I finally got them and I love them so much, the constellation pin even glows in the dark!! The girls also threw in a bunch of extra goodies for me, some stickers, a Polaroid, a Jackson hair pin and "Broke Ahgase Club" patch which I can TOTALLY relate to and need to sew onto one of my bags soon. I always get excited to see what new designs they come out with and they are the sweetest so go give them some support.
There's so much creative and amazing fan made merch out there and there is literally something for everyone from cookies to clothing to pins to plushies, and these small businesses need your help more than ever right now so please do show them your support and if you have a fave store be sure to link them in the comments for everyone to check out and let's spread some love and support in the fandoms.

I have walked past the beautifully smelling Bangkok Soap Opera so many times but sadly never been inside however I happened to notice one day while scrolling through Instagram that they were having a sale so I decided as I was down to my last sliver of soap it was the perfect opportunity to order some of their delicious looking soaps to try out and as it arrived to me so fast and so beautifully wrapped with sustainable packaging and smelt so wonderful I just had to share this amazing find with all of you because who doesn't love pretty soaps that smell amazing?
The most appealing thing to me about Bangkok Soap Opera is not just their amazing soaps but the fact that they do some amazing work in the community. Not only do they teach soap making skills and host workshops on natural skincare and candle making, which I definitely want to take part in one day, they also have a project where they take the used oil from local street stalls and restaurants and which would otherwise go to waste and use that oil to make into soap and then donate that soap to communities and charities in need, so by buying their soaps and supporting them you are also supporting a great cause and a more eco-friendly, sustainable future.
As someone with quite sensitive skin I'm always cautious about what I put onto my skin and try to source as natural, organic and vegan as possible. Bangkok Soap Opera prides themselves on their natural ingredients and state they don't use any ingredients in their soap you can't eat as only if it's safe for you to consume it's safe for it to be used on your skin. Using only these natural ingredients they have produced a wonderful and wide selection of soaps in many "flavours" to suit all skincare types, I purchased 5 of their many soaps on offer, strawberry and rose, mangosteen and lemongrass, coffee and orange, chocolate pumpkin and cinnamon, lemon and tamarind, and they all smell amazing! So far I have only used the strawberry rose and it's wonderful, not only does my bathroom smell like an amazing rose garden every time I walk in but I've had complements about my "new perfume" and my skin feels so soft, beautiful and cleansed I really can't wait to get back into the shower to use it again.
I think as consumers we should all be making more of an effort to support businesses and brands that make a difference, personally I want the little money I have to go to the right places and businesses that align with my own ideals and beliefs and Bangkok Soap Opera is definitely a business I'm proud to support, not only are their products handmade with completely natural ingredients of the highest quality, they smell amazing, leave my skin feeling beautiful and are very reasonably priced to so worth every single penny and more, they ship worldwide to so please do go check them out and maybe treat yourself to some natural handmade skincare made with love.
Which one of their soaps would you love to try out?

After visiting River City's previous multimedia exhibition on Van Gogh I just had to go see their latest multimedia extravaganza, The Impressionists an exhibition which showcases the work of 10 different artists significant to the impressionist movement. As this era is home to some of my favourite artists, Van Gogh, Monet, Rousseau and Renoir I was really excited to experience their art in a new way and to be fully immersed into their world.
Like the previous Van Gogh exhibition this one had a set up where you could become part of the art, last time it was Van Gogh's bedroom this time is was Cafรฉ Guerbois, a real cafรฉ in Paris in the 19th century where many artists of the time would meet. I'd really have loved to be a fly on the wall at that time and hear what these amazing artists would discuss together and it was said that some of the discussions they would have would get quite heated to.
The multimedia section of the exhibit was much larger than last time with different sections and set ups for you to watch the screens and take photos, the first was a bridge with a lily pond, an homage to Monet's famous piece Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies and the second a boat which was a common appearance in many of The Impressionists works.
I visited the exhibition on a quiet day and was lucky to have the whole exhibition to myself for a couple hours so was able to enjoy each of these set-ups without disturbing anyone's view or experience although on a busy day there is still lots of space and seating for everyone to enjoy the exhibition in peace.
It was really touching to see each of the artists pieces brought to life in such a new way, being surrounded by Monet's beautiful flowers and landscapes really made me feel like I had escaped to the countryside, Rousseau the jungle, Toulouse-Lautrec to Paris, it really was a beautiful experience and I walked through the exhibit several times making sure I could experience every artists work from every angle to the absolute fullest before it was time for me to leave.
For anyone in Bangkok the exhibition is here until April 18th and there's currently a 1+1 offer so you can bring a friend along with you to see it for free, so I highly recommend you do visit whilst you still can as it is really worth experiencing for yourself.

Postcard From A Stranger was an interactive exhibition/project hosted in Bangkok at BACC where you could write a postcard to a stranger with some words of positivity in the hopes that that postcard will be picked up by someone and make their day a little bit more brighter, and in exchange for you leaving a postcard you can also take one and hopefully that person's words will bring some comfort and positivity to you. The hope of this project was during these turbulent times to spread a bit more love and positivity into the world and let everyone know we are not alone and we can get through these times together. You never know the personal struggles that someone's is going through and even the smallest of kind of words from a complete stranger can make a big difference to someone's life.
Sadly by the time I heard about this project it was after the end date but due to popularity the gallery decided to extend it for another few weeks so I visited during its last days to leave my own postcard of positivity there. It was so amazing to see so many people getting involved, the walls were covered floor to roof with so many comforting words of positivity and love and not all postcards were written in Thai I saw a few in other languages to, absolutely everyone and anyone could take part in the project all you needed was a pen and paper which were also kindly provided by the gallery for you to take part in the project.
So much has happened over the past year and so many people have been struggling to cope so this was a really great way to bring people together and spread some love. I was overwhelmed with the amount of messages left by people and it wasn't just postcards and notes some people left original their artworks, photos, fortunes and even K-pop photocards for people to take and it eventually evolved into a place where people could not only spread some love to each other but a place for people to share their art, themselves, their love and passion with the world.
This past year has been one of the toughest for me, I've been distanced from the people I care about, I've lost friends and family and I have felt so alone and hopeless at times but people even complete strangers have shown me so much warmth and kindness it has really changed my perspective on a lot of things. This exhibition really touched me and really made me proud to be here, especially when I saw just how many people had been visiting, usually BACC is reasonably quiet but since word got out about this project hundreds of people took time out of their lives to visit and leave these postcards, it really was a beautiful thing to be part of and I hope we can see similar projects happen all around the world because right now we need a bit more kindness in the world.
What message of positivity would you like to say to someone?

This past weekend was my best boy Jackson Wang's birthday, you may remember last yearThailand went into somewhat of a lockdown so a lot of birthday events for Jackson had to be cancelled but this year we got to celebrate him together with events happening not just all over Bangkok but all over Thailand! Fans everywhere really came together to celebrate his birthday and have lots of fun together after a really stressful year for a lot of us.
I had such an amazing weekend, I was exhausted from trying to go to all the events but it was a happy exhaustion and it was really nice to see so many people come out to celebrate Jackson and have such kind words to say about him. I was really touched especially as this year the fan clubs have been making more of an effort to help small local businesses by funding ads on Tuk Tuk's and fruit stalls instead subways and trains and I love this so much because the money goes directly to the people who really need it and have lost so much business due to the pandemic.
There were so many cute souvenirs and giveaways happening at these events, everyone was so kind and generous and I got so many amazing cute stickers, cup sleeves and photocards that I thought I would have a little giveaway and share some of the love with a little Jackson birthday goodie bag for one of you so be sure the check the widget below for details on how to enter...
Giveaway will be open until midnight Thailand time on April 18th so be sure to enter and come back daily to get get bonus entries and once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jackson Wang, it really brings me so much joy that I am able to celebrate your birthday surrounded by so many others that love you to, I hope you had a great day and I look forward to doing it all over again next year!

Phannapast Taychamaythakool is a Thai artist who expresses her feelings through her animal creations illustrated in a traditional Chinese style in honour of her Thai/Chinese heritage, I first became aware of her through a collaboration with Hello Kitty but slowly began to realise that I have actually been a big fan of her art for a while seeing it in many locations in Bangkok, most recently the beautifully decorated Wat Mangkon MRT station where she collaborated with Nescafe, I also own a mug from this collaboration to.
Venus in the Shell is her newest exhibition of her work which took place in my favourite artist escape River City and takes you on a journey into the secretive corners of humanity's fragility, anger, disappointment, love, joy, jealousy, brightness, and darkness with Phannapast's ending hope that we can embrace the reality of life not just those depicted by the gods.
The exhibition is really stunning, I adore her vibrant work so much and the stories she tells through her art, I really did feel like I transported into another world and by the end of the exhibition I felt so at peace and inspired. My favourite were the lenticular prints that shifted and morphed as you moved, I spent a good amount of time just walking back and forth enjoying these transformations from human to animal which is symbolises that we all have multiple sides depending on the circumstances we are in and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
There were so many fun characters at the exhibition, robotic storks , bulbous goldfish and my personal favourite the cat and the lotus. I loved them so much I picked up a few postcards and memopads in the gallery shop. Phannapast's artwork is so fun and I adore the deeper meanings behind them to, it's always a joy seeing her artwork randomly around the city.
Food nourishes the body but art feeds the soul and after this day I was happily full. Inspired by the world of Phannapast I decided to share with you a little bit of my world so made a video of my day which you can watch below where you can follow me exploring Chinatown, art exhibitions, eating lots of vegan foods and of course my adorable cat Nora Neko has a feature to. This is a new vlog series I'm testing out so let me know what you think and hopefully I will have more beautiful art and artists to share with you in the future.

2021 started in Thailand with the first reported cases of Covid after months of being free which caused a lot of events planned for January to be postponed or cancelled because of restrictions and strict social distancing being put in place, however as cases started to drop, restrictions were eased and some events did go ahead but on a much smaller scale and now in February we're somewhat back to business as usual but still with some caution. I was lucky enough to attend quite a variety of different events in January and able to celebrate almost all the Kpop birthdays on my list but for February I will probably take things a bit easier but don't worry there are still some exciting things planned so let's hope they can happen!
GOT7 JB BIRTHDAY CAFE
Unfortunately due to the covid restrictions several of the events I had planned to attend for JB's birthday were postponed and so I decided for safety I would just visit one event that took place over a week so it wouldn't be too crowded, I was sad I couldn't attend more but the one I got to go to was really beautiful and it was nice to relax for a couple hours and celebrate my "bros" birthday. Not to worry though the events I was supposed to go to this month have been rescheduled so I will be celebrating his birthday again soon.
DAY6 SUNGJIN BIRTHDAY CAFE
January 16th was a busy day for me!! I started the day off at Sungjin's birthday which was a last minute addition to my list but I was really sad to have missed his birthday event last year so I just had to go this year no matter what and show my support for my favourite bear and I ended up having so much fun there I had to skip my next event (sorry Jennie) and rush to another event I was already booked in for ...
GOT7 7TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS
After Sungjin's birthday I rushed off to a GOT7 anniversary event and after the news of them leaving JYP and walking their own path but to staying as GOT7 I really wanted to celebrate this with my fellow Ahgase and the cafรฉ they chose was just so beautiful I had such a chill time there. The second event was crazy with Covid cases dropping and restrictions being eased that weekend there was a full house and everyone was screaming and doing the fanchants to the concert videos they were showing, it was so much fun but so strange to see as I had been there for JB's birthday just a couple weeks earlier and was only one of five people there but this time the place was so full people were waiting outside! The atmosphere was crazy and really made me miss concerts, I guess it's going to be a while before we see GOT7 again but I'm sure we'll all see them again one day and not just through a screen
NCT / WAY V / SUPER M LUCAS BIRTHDAY CAFE
Last year I said how I wanted to go to more different Kpop artists events and I finally got the chance in January with my not so secret crush Lucas. I've been a fan of Lucas ever since NCT's Boss dropped, I don't know what it was but the boy just caught my eye and the more I got to know him the more I liked and now WayV has become one of my fave groups so it was time I finally celebrated his birthday and it was so much fun, I really loved how they wrote Lucas in Thai on the cake because in case you didn't know Lucas mother is Thai which makes him a halfie just like me, maybe that's why I connect so well with him? NCT are quite popular in Thailand to so there's always a bunch of events happening to celebrate their birthdays so I'm happy I got the chance to finally go to one and I know February is a busy month for NCTzens so ... hopefully I get to attend some more soon ...

2020 is over and it ended it on a high having not only attended some amazing birthday celebrations for my favourite person but getting to see him at a live online fanmeet to, it has been such a fun month but unfortunately with the virus making a resurgence in Thailand it looks like a lot of my plans for January may be cancelled, but nevermind, let's stay safe and stay strong and remember the good times with a little look back on some of the fun Kpop events in December.
DAY6 (EVEN OF DAY) FANMEET @ KFOOD FAIR
Exactly a year since Day6 were in Bangkok for their Gravity world tour we got to see them again through a virtual fanmeet organised at the KFood Fair in Siam Paragon. Although it was just Even of Day as Sungjin and Jae are still on break it was so good to see them and so much fun being surrounded by My Day singing their songs together, we even did a little fan project for them. Not only was this event free to attend but it was livestreamed to so and if you missed out on seeing the event you can watch the full video on Facebook, I had so much fun and was so happy to see them despite the tears, I promise you Young K they were happy tears, I just hope next year is better and we can meet them in person again. Much love to KFood Fair for organising this for us, it was such a great surprise and of course I came home with a bag full of ramyeon to celebrate seeing my boys again!
ONE MOMENT - GOT7 MARK TUAN EXHIBITION
This exhibition was actually supposed to take place a year ago but was definitely worth the wait as there were some absolutely stunning photos of Mark. The exhibition took place over two days and so many people came to show their support for Mark I went on the 1st day and it was packed full of people so I didn't stay too long but it was nice to see so many Ahgase there, Mark is definitely Thailand's bias!
DAY6 YOUNG K BIRTHDAY EVENTS
December 19th was Young K's birthday and I was so excited to finally celebrate his birthday this year, last year I couldn't find one event but this year there were 3 beautifully decorated cafes and some really beautiful souvenirs to. I was just the best day and I was so happy to see Young K getting so much love from everyone on his birthday and while I was at my last stop he dropped his Winter Child cover which was just the perfect end to a perfect day.

November was a fun month of events in Bangkok just like September but most of the events I wanted to go to all ended up happening on the same day so this all happened in a day! There was so much more I wanted to do, more birthday events and even a cinema screening by some GOT7 fansites showing all their amazing fancams, but I'm sure I'll get more opportunities for more awesome events in the future.
JACKBAM ANNIVERSARY CAFร
This was such a cute event, as soon as I saw photos of the cute Jackson and Bambam donuts I just had to go check it out. The decorations were just adorable and the atmosphere so much fun, when I arrived GOT7 were livestreaming their virtual fansign event which was also happening in Bangkok that day so there was lots of screaming and giggling while we watched them. Jackson and Bambam have such a great friendship I love seeing them joking around together and taking care of each other so this was a cute event to celebrate the 9 years of friendship they have and I really hope we have more events like this because it was so much fun and such a cute idea.
GOT7 YUGYEOM BIRTHDAY EVENTS
Yugyeom's events were so much fun this year and extremely popular compared to last year! There was so much going on and so many people out celebrating his birthday it was so touching. Each venue had their own unique theme and I really loved the galaxy theme in the first cafรฉ from the decorations, to the food, to the gifts everything was just done so beautifully and everyone had so much fun. There were so many gifts and giveaways to, I came home with so many beautiful goodies like photocards, stickers, fans, cup sleeves, candles, soap and even cookies, Ahgase are so cute and creative I love this fandom so much and am really excited for JB's birthday in January and the start of a new year of Kpop events.
If anyone knows of any other Kpop events happening in Bangkok that you would like me to go check out for you please do let me know as I'd love to share other groups events I may not be as familiar with as there's so many amazing events that happen here compared to other places I'd love to share a bit of my world with the rest of the world, especially now we aren't able to travel so freely. My Ko-fi link is below for anyone that wants to 'sponsor' my visits and buy me a drink and in exchange I will send you any cute freebies I get from the event, also do make sure to follow me on Instagram from more K-pop related fun and news on future events that I will be attending as well as more fun adventures I don't blog about.

In 1869, 13 British and American ladies established the Bangkok Ladies' Library Association with the goal of circulating and sharing English language books which were extremely hard to come by in those days as books from overseas could take at least 6 months or more to arrive in Thailand via boat. The association was run every Sunday in out of the ladies houses but as the association grew and became more popular a dedicated space was needed so in 1914 a plot of land was purchased and so the Neilson Hays Library you see today was born.
For the longest time I have been searching Thailand for a good place to find English language books because although we have some amazing bookshops it can be expensive and most second hand bookshops don't have much of a selection to chose from, so finding this library was like finding treasure and I honestly cant believe I have gone my whole life without knowing of its existence until now.
The library is such a beautiful old European style building which is in vast contrast to the skyscrapers and Bangkok's tallest building, the Mahanakhon building which is just a short walk away from the library. The library may not look big in comparison but it houses over 20,000 books, the largest English collection in Bangkok so there's definitely something to suit all tastes. I was overjoyed to see a plethora of books from my favourite author Haruki Murakami and also all the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin.
The library also hosts other events like storybook reading for children, a literary festival and bi-annual book sale which was one of the reasons for my visit there. I actually only found out about the library via a farmers market I visit every week as the weekend of the book sale they had a special hidden farmers market in the library gardens, so you could enjoy lunch and pick up some groceries after shopping for books at the book sale. I picked up 3 books at the sale for just ฿50 each, then wandered around the library, read a book, had some pizza for lunch in the library gardens and on my way out picked up a few cookies to take home for later.
Once I finish reading these books I will probably donate them back to the library as the library works on donations and volunteers alone and is Thailand's oldest not-for-profit organisation, it's definitely something I want to support being a lady who loves books just like the founders. I really hope the Neilson Hays Library can exist for many more centuries in the city and it's definitely worth a visit if you want to see something different as it's such a unique place to have in the middle of Bangkok.

Have you ever visited a cat cafรฉ and wanted to bring one of the kitties home? At "Bangkok's Best Adoptable Cat Cafรฉ" you can do exactly that! Hosted every Sunday at Union Space in Ekkamai, Paws Bangkok brings a bunch of their cutest rescues from their shelter for you to play with and hopefully find their forever homes.
The cafรฉ is completely free to enter, although donations are much appreciated to help them rescue more animals in need, all they ask is that you fall in love with these kitties and hopefully give them a home. I rescued my Nora Neko 2 years ago, we found him in the middle of a highway and he was such a tiny dirty thing only a couple months old, if we hadn't have found him then I'm sure he wouldn't have made it. I never planned on getting a cat but now I can't imagine life without him and I would love to rescue another one day which was one of the reasons for my visit. All my pets have been rescues and it's really important to me to adopt as there are so many beautiful animals in need that deserve to live a better life.
This cafรฉ is such a great idea to get to know the kitties a bit before you adopt and on my visits there to play with the kitties I'm always so happy to see them get adopted, on one visit 4 kittens found new homes and on a another 8 did but there's still many more at their shelter and more coming in everyday that need help to and if you do happen to just be visiting Thailand from abroad and want to bring one of the kittens back with you Paws will provide you will all the help and information to do that, they want all their kitties to have forever homes no matter where in the world you may be from!
On every other Saturday's Paws also host an adoptable puppy cafรฉ in the same location, so if you're also looking for a new puppy to adopt be sure to go there, my visit there for Halloween was so much fun. Paws do such amazing work helping all the animals in need in Thailand and giving them the best possible life so please do support them if you can, and hopefully I will find a friend for my Nora soon.
Would you adopt one of these cute kitties?

Halloween was spent in the best way possible surrounded by cute puppies which you can actually bring home with you! Bangkok's Adoptable Puppy Cafรฉ happens every other Saturday where a whole bunch of adorable rescue pups come out to play and hopefully find their forever homes.
This was my first visit to the puppy cafรฉ and it was so much fun, the puppies are sooo cute and playful and excited that most my photos came out a blurry mess but I'm happy they had a good time as all of these dogs are rescues and some even have disabilities, there was one that couldn't use his back legs but that didn't stop him from running around and playing with the other puppies.
The cafรฉ is a great idea to get the dogs out of their kennels and socialise with other dogs and new people and also for people to meet with these dogs, fall in love and take them home, that day 8 puppies went to their forever homes and the others went to foster homes which made my heart so happy.
For Halloween they had special snacks and drinks and there was also a book sale as well as t-shirts and totes so if you couldn't take one of the dogs home you could still help out by buying something as all the proceeds went towards helping them rescue more dogs in need and finding them new homes.
I love visiting dog and cat cafes but I especially love visiting the adoptable cafesas these animal are so sweet and it really is a great feeling when you see them going to their forever homes, adoption is very important to me as all my pets have been rescues and there's so many beautiful creatures that need our help that I'm happy in some little way I can help and who knows maybe one day I will bring home a little friend.
Would you adopt one of these cute puppies?

Unbirthday Cafรฉ is another one of Bangkok's hidden gems, tucked down an side alley on the 2nd floor of an apartment complex it can be confusing to find but once you do you'll want to come again and again. I first visited in August, to treat myself to some cake for my (un)birthday so I thought for my Halloween visit I would film a little video and share it here.
The commitment they have to the aesthetic is admirable, in summer there was a midsummer theme with flowers decorating the whole of the cafรฉ from floor to celling and for October they went with a spooky but cute Halloween theme with not just the dรฉcor but cakes, drinks and music adding to the overall theme, it's such a pretty cafรฉ and I love the attention to detail they put into everything, there's such a great vibe there.
Cakes are the main reason you should visit because their cakes are in my opinion one of the best in Thailand! They bake a wide variety of cakes daily so there's something for everyone from chocolate to fruit to cheesecake to scones and every single one is so delicious and a real rich treat, my personal favourite is the hummingbird cake, definitely a must try especially if you're a fan of carrot cake.
Since sharing my photos of Unbirthday Cafรฉ on Instagram so many of my friends have asked me to take them there when they come visit so I will for sure and I can't wait to see what their next theme will be, maybe I'll have to pay another visit for Christmas.
What is your favourite cake?
