Cute & Geeky Backpack Wishlist

Cute and geeky bags have always been my thing, ever since I was a little kid I would always pick something fun over something practical. There's just something about a cute bag that just makes you feel happy and if you need to carry a bunch of stuff around you all day why not have something that makes you smile with you? Thankfully quirky bags seem to be in style now so there's choices galore and even the designer brands are making them, so here are just a few that have caught my eye recently...

♥ Neko Atsume Crossbody Bag* - Although I've never played this game I just can't resist the kawaii, I mean how cute is this bag? It even looks like kitty is hugging you when you carry it which is such a cute idea I love it!

♥ Loungefly Pokémon Goldeen Mini Backpack - As soon as I saw this Goldeen design I fell in love it's absolutely stunning, it's totally understated geek chic! So if you don't want to be too obvious and carry a Pikachu shaped backpack around with you but still want to show off your fandom then Loungefly has you covered.

♥ Reptar Back Buddy Backpack - Rugrats was one of my favourite 90's cartoons so I was so happy to find this totally awesome backpack and it's such a great size to I mean it may not be "Reptar-size" but there's room for a laptop or tablet in there.

♥ Kate Spade Whimsies T-Rex Crossbody - I'm a big dinosaur fan if you didn't already know and I absolutely adore this Kate Spade bag. Kate Spade actually has some really cute designs but they're just a little out of my budget so I'll just admire them from afar...

♥ UFO Star Pattern Iridescent Cute Backpack - Aliens are another one of my obsessions (I even visited Area 51) so this bag is just perfect for me, not only is it UFO shaped but it's holographic to give you that extra space vibe.

What's your favourite cute or nerdy bag?

Dance Your way through fall -- Plus size party choices

Let’s be complete honest: No one enjoys returning to work after the lovely summer holidays. But no matter what, the summer is gone and we won’t be able to stop it. What should I do? Remain calm during the whole autumn and wait for Christmas? Seems boring for me. I need to escape. I need to dance until all my pressure disappear.

I found these party dresses from ROSGAL that would help me and probably help you out if you feels the same as me. Let dance our way through this autumn!

Black lace dresses are my personal favorite of the classic dresses. Black is a sexy color, even more sexy when it combines with the lace sheer sleeve. I’m so satisfied they add lots of details on the sleeve.

White is a classy ,clean color. Put different color‘s stripes on it, it becomes fun to wear. Suitable for in or out. A nice choice for dance & party lovers. This adorable dresses only cost $9 at the moment. Get it now.

Elegant style matches it’s color. The flare print is well detailed. Vintage is always charming and attractive. With flower prints, it reaches a new level.

Coffee & Cake Date #6: Cafe Yung - Samcheong-dong - Seoul - South Korea

Cafe Yung - Samcheong-dong - Seoul - South Korea

Whilst in Korea it's a must to visit a traditional tea house and Cafe Yung, in the area of Samcheong-dong know for it's traditional yet trendy buildings is the perfect mix of old and new. Samcheong-dong is quite possibly one of my favourite places in Seoul as you can see the old style Korean buildings yet a lot of the interior of the cafes, shops and galleries are quite hip and modern so it's an area definitely worth checking out.

Cafe Yung - Samcheong-dong - Seoul - South Korea

On my last visit to Korea I became addicted to hotteok (호떡) a sweet Korean pancake that's most commonly eaten in winter so on my return there in spring I was sad to find that they're weren't as many street vendors selling them so when I saw them on Cafe Yung's menu I had to order them. To keep it traditional and because I love trying new things I also ordered sujeonggwa (수정과) which is a cinnamon iced tea punch and it was so nice and refreshing, I'll definitely try it again!

Anime I'm Watching & Loving!

Rainy season has been the perfect time for me to catch up on some anime, I've binged watched my way through several series and I've almost caught up on my watchlist. I thought I would include some movies this time because I know not everyone has the time to invest in watching a whole series and there's some pretty damn awesome anime movies out there which deserve a mention to so I hope you find something on this list that appeals to you.

Takao, a high school student who dreams of becoming a shoemaker encounters a mysterious older woman on a rainy day in Shinjuku Gyoen, they begin to form a relationship which revolves around their unplanned rainy day meetings in the same garden but the rainy season is coming to an end and there's still so much that they don't know about each other and so much left unsaid. This is such a beautiful but melancholy short movie that randomly appeared on my watch list and I'm so glad it did because for starters the animation is absolutely stunning. I love it when animation focus on the small details and aspects of nature like raindrops and leaves blowing in the wind and this anime did that so perfectly and beautifully it added to the mood and atmosphere of the move so well. Although you don't really learn too much about the characters (it's only 45 minutes long!) they're very real and I did relate to their struggles with life and society. I will admit the ending is kind of cliche but I did feel a little teary, definitely give this one a go though it's worth it just to see how beautifully the rain is animated.

A teenage boy from Tokyo city and girl from rural Itomori wake up to find they've magically switched bodies and after having such an impact on each others lives they embark on a quest to finally meet each other in person. This movie is definitely worth all the hype, it's absolutely beautiful and I really loved the storyline and even found myself tearing up at the end. Thankfully I hadn't read too much about this movie before I watched it so the "twist" was a surprise to me and really added to the emotion of the story and the characters, the "twilight scene" was probably one of my favourite scenes in the movie and if you have no idea what I'm talking about then just go watch this movie right now!

Joker Game follows the story of a group of elite trained spies who are part of a special secret agency set on missions around the world to uncover intel prior to Japan's inevitable involvement in WWII. It's been a while since I watched a historical, espionage type anime and watching this reminded me just how much I enjoy and miss watching spy dramas. In fact I ended up watching the whole series in one day and I think 12 episodes was way to short for the amount of characters involved in the story so I hope it gets another season.

Sora and Shiro are sibling NEETs obsessed with the world of gaming, after a strange email challenging them to game a chess they are transported to a world which is run by games. I've been meaning to watch this anime for the longest time after hearing many positive things about it I'm kicking myself for not watching it sooner because it's just so colourful and fun and Shiro is absolutely adorable AND they even referenced Ace Attorney which is one of my favourite games ever! I really loved the world they were in but I suck at all forms of gaming so I probably wouldn't survive as well as Sora and Shiro...

This needs no introduction as I think by now everyone is already caught up on the latest Attack on Titan and is eagerly awaiting season 3 which is apparently due out next year so thank the gods we don't have to wait another 4 years!! I devoured this season far too quickly... I watched all 12 episodes in one go with all the goddamn cliffhangers I just couldn't stop myself! I really enjoyed this season though and the reveal of the Titans had me on edge although I will say one thing which I say all the time NOT ENOUGH LEVI!!

What anime series have you been enjoying recently?

KPop Fangirling in Seoul - K-Star Road - SM - JYP & More

KPop in Seoul (SM Entertainment COEX)

KPop has been one of guilty pleasures for the longest time and since moving to Thailand my passion for all things KPop seems to have been re-ignited because it's everywhere in fact I think KPop is more popular than actual Thai music! I decided on my recent trip to Seoul to stay in the Gangnam area and explore all the KPop hotspots, shops and cafes in the area, in fact the guesthouse where I stayed was decorated in all things KPop to so I was in fangirl heaven.

KPop in Seoul (Hallyu K-Star Road)

First stop in Seoul for any K-Pop fan is Hallyu K-Star Road which is a stretch of road between Apgujeong and Cheongdam where you can find "Gangnam Dolls" decorated to celebrate the various popular KPop groups and some are even signed by the artists themselves. It's a very cute Korean take on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and next to Apujeong Rodeo Station (exit 7) you can even find a little tourist information booth selling miniature versions and magnets of the dolls should you want to take one home, unfortunately they didn't have a mini VIXX one for me to buy though...

KPop in Seoul (SM Entertainment - Sum Cafe)

S.E.S. and BoA were probably my first encounters with KPop so SM Entertainment has a soft spot in my fangirl heart. SM has a couple places you can visit one in COEX  where you can see all the awards and costumes from their artists as well as shop and they have a cafe where I had that rather delicious Girls' Generation cupcake you see pictured above the second place is about 10 minutes walk up the road and has a shop, cafe and restaurant which I would've eaten at had I not just devoured a burger at Shake Shack in Gangnam...

KPop in Seoul (Shake Shack)

Shake Shack has become very popular in Korea and although I had previously tried them in London I had to visit the Gangnam branch and try their mushroom burger and I know you're wondering what this has to do with Kpop right? Well... my main reason for this visit was because I saw GOT7 visit here in and episode of Hard Carry TV and GOT7 are one of my loved KPop groups EVER!! Luckily though I didn't have to queue to get in like they did so my appetite was satisfied quite quickly.

KPop in Seoul (JYP)

Being a big fan of GOT7, 2PM, Wonder Girls and most recently Day6 I had to pay a visit to JYP which is a lot smaller than I thought but they are moving to bigger offices very soon. There were lot's of teenage girls hanging around outside all waiting for a glimpse of their favourite idols so I didn't stop there for long I decided to explore around and see what cafes and restaurants were in the area that the idols might frequent, also I felt a little bit out of place surrounded by teenage girls considering I'm almost twice their age! Another thing I noticed about Seoul was that they have birthday signs dedicated to idols at almost every bus and train stop, when I first got to Seoul there was a sign for my GOT7 bias Jackson which made me overly excited and pretty much put me in that fangirl mode for the rest of my trip. There's so many more KPop destinations to visit in Seoul (I actually visited Jellyfish to because VIXX) but I might save them for my next visit, I'd also love to go to a KPop concert in Korea one day to because I bet that would be a crazy experience!

Do you like KPop? What are some of your favourite artists?
