Winter is Coming....

Game of Thrones returns for another season and I could not be more excited, if you thought the Red Wedding was shocking be prepared because this season is going to be crazy I just can not wait! So to celebrate the return of my favourite series I've made another Direwolf Scarf, Summer.

Summer is Bran's Direwolf, and sometimes Bran. As I want to make each of the Direwolves look a different from each other I took inspiration from the show and the plushie for this design and went with a brownish coloured yarn, yellow glass eyes (the same as Nymeria and Grey Wind) and white details for the ears, chin and tail.

I'm so grateful for the positive feedback I've got on these scarves and to have George RR Martin say he likes them is the ultimate compliment! I can't wait to make more and complete my collection soon and who knows maybe once my Direscarf collection is complete I'll start work on some dragon scarves....

NEW Kawaii Cupcake Earring Designs

Binge watching Cupcake Wars was no doubt my inspiration for making these earrings. I made a promise to myself to craft more earrings for you guys this year and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that, I think they look pretty cute and I'm almost tempted to go get my own ears pierced so I can wear them!

Strawberry Cupcake Earrings

Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits and they go perfectly with cupcakes. Cupcakes and strawberries are two of my favourite things to eat and also to make and they're definitely a match made in heaven and although you can't eat these they look pretty delicious don't you think?

This chocolate frosting looks good enough to eat. I must admit I'm not a huge chocolate fan but every so often I get a craving for it and it normally comes in the form of cake so no doubt I was having those cravings when I made these!

Pastel Bubblegum Cupcake Earrings

Cupcakes are always so cute, bright and cheery so I chose the most bubblegum sweet colours I had to make these and I love the result, the pastel colours match so well and although those roses were pretty tricky to make on such a small scale they add that extra sprinkle of cuteness, I think they would look awesome styled with fairy kei.

Monsters, Inc. is one of my fave Pixar movies and after getting Monsters University for Christmas I was totally inspired to make something fun featuring my favourite monsters. I chose beads that I thought would compliment each of them and created the little charms using figurines I got from blind bags, now I kinda want to make necklaces for the other monsters what do you think?

Winter is well and truly here and I wanted to make something a bit special for those snowy days so chose a yarn with some added sparkle which I think adds an extra wintery touch to it and some icy blue buttons for eyes, just a little something to keep you looking cute and warm on those chilly days.

I love the colour of this yarn so much and I think it suits the bunny design so well, I've been making these for a while but gave them a mini makeover as the bows I was using previously had been discontinued but nevermind, I think these new bows are just as cute and compliment the violet colour perfectly.

Glitter makes everything better! I wasn't sure exactly what to do with this yarn when I first bough it but I figured everyone loves bunnies and they pretty much look cute in all colours. I didn't want to make this design too busy with the yarn already being glittery so chose a simple silver bow and some grey eyes to bring out the sparkle.

Valentine's Day is nearly here and I wanted to make something special for the occasion and nothing quite says love and cuddles like a cute bunny. I used a heart print bow and some red roses for that added Valentine's Day touch and thought I would give the bunny blue eyes to add a bit of softness, the perfect "I Love you" gift for that special someone.

A Brand New Storenvy

With all the craziness that has been my life lately I completely forgot to tell you guys I've opened a new shop on Storenvy. This might not be new news for those of you who follow me on Twitter or Tumblr as I actually opened the store late last year but I thought after gaining my first few sales it deserved a formal introduction into the world.

In the past people have asked me if there is an alternative website to buy my handmade goodies on which doesn't require a sign up and I'm happy to say that Storenvy is that alternative and if that wasn't great news enough you can also purchase items directly from my Storenvy shop via my Facebook page

Prices are listed in USD which is great news for my US customers as it means you'll be able to shop in your own currency with no conversion fees and Storenvy is not just limited to selling handmade items I will be offering other items there to, such as headbands, stationary and more.

I also made the decision, as Storenvy doesn't charge fees like Etsy does, that all the money made from this shop will go into an account for Thailand. My family in Thailand are very important to me and as the kids are growing up and my grandparents are getting older I want to do my part to help out so I feel like this is one of the ways I can support them.

Over the coming months I'm hoping I can grow and improve my Storenvy shop and make is as much of a success as my Etsy is, that being said I won't be leaving Etsy just yet I will still be offering all my handmade items for sale there as well as supporting my fellow Etisans.
